Adak

Copperhead Mineral’s main project is re-start of copper and zinc mine Adak in north of Sweden. The mine has a long history with previous mining from the early 1940-ties until 1977 when the mine was shut after a fire. Significant past production (11 Mt) from four mines on the property include: 6.3 Mt @ 2% Cu, 0.6 g/t Au, 9 g/t Ag (Adak, Lindsköld, Brännmyran Mines) and 4.75Mt @ 0.9% Cu, 3% Zn, 0.3 g/t Au, 10 g/t Ag. (Rudjebäcken Mine). Our objective is to establish mine with 1 MTON annual processing capacity and 20 years LOM. The expected time frame to obtain all necessary permits is 3-4 years. Expected capital required to establish mine will depend on several factors and primarily on additional drilling required and weather the ore will be processed locally with own process plant or if a toll treatment agreement could be arranged. The Adak premises are assessed to have excellent exploration potential. Historic drilling only tested limited areas in front of production headings. Underexplored potential down dip and along strike. Also, conditions for development of mining operations are very good in terms of infrastructure, nearby smelters and contract mining services. Turn-key program in a supportive, underexplored jurisdiction.
